The brutal murder of Chief Harry Marshal, a Nigerian politician and a power broker in the South South, on the 3rd of March 2003, is not allowed to be swept
under the carpet, as a South-South Group have Petitioned the President giving names of his killers and mastermind.
A Copy of the Petition from the South/South Renaissance Group sent to the President and Force Headquarters, Abuja, and made available to Hope for Nigeria, also named the same killers as responsible for the murder of Chief A.K. Dikibos.
Chief Dikibos who replaced Harry Marshall as the South South-deputy PDP leader, was killed on February 6, 2004, inside his car along Ogwashi-Uku/Kwale Road on his way for a Zonal party meeting in Asaba, Delta state. The alleged Killer Mastermind, Dr Cairo Ojougboh is now occupying their position.
The petition was signed by the group’s national coordinator, Dr Offili Ijeomah, copied also to the Inspector General of Police and the DG, DSS.
In a related development another group, New PDP Reformation Coalition and Support Group have decried the activities of Dr Cairo Ojougboh whom they alleged to be the brain behind the killing of Chief Harry Marshal, Chief Dikibos and attempted murder of several politicians from the region.
The former Speaker of Delta House of Assembly, Mr Martins Okonta have alleged how Dr Cairo Ojougboh detailed thugs to kill him in the run up to the Primaries of the recently concluded general election.
