Emeka Offor, others pay condolence visit to Senator Ubah, as Anambra Progressives place N20m bounty

Several dignitaries and personalities, including Chrome Group Boss, Sir Emeka Offor, have paid condolence visits to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah over the recent attack on his convoy that claimed the lives of two of his aides, as well as two of his security personnel.

The unfortunate attack and gruesome killings took place last Sunday at Enugu-Ukwu in Anambra State.

Speaking during his visit, Sir Offor described the attack as heinous and prayed for the peaceful repose of the lost souls.

He also urged the State Government to take proactive measures in investigating the unfortunate incident with a view to bringing the perpetrators to book.

Senator Ubah was also visited by Chief Patrick Chidolue; CEO, Chelsea Group and Chief Francis Chukwudebelu (Ezeani Omenuko), who also commiserated with him over the sad loss of his aides and security personnel.

They urged the State Government to solidify the security architecture in Anambra State so as to prevent further tragic occurrences in future.

Senator Ubah thanked them all for their individual and collective visits and well wishes, and further prayed God to grant his deceased aides and security personnel eternal rest.

Amongst other eminent personalities, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was also visited by Chief Fabian Nwora (Chikeluba Osumenyi, Efab group), Prince Donatus Okonkwo (CEO, Tetrazzini Group), Chief Benson Oranusi, Chief Dan Edokwe (Ugodan), Hon. Emeka Chukwueloka (BB) and Mr Onyeka Agbanusi (Odira Chukwu Mma, Karisgold).

Anambra Progressives place N20m bounty

Following the assassination attempt on the Senator representating Anambra South Senatorial District around Enugwu-ukwu axis, the Anambra Progressives, Diaspora Branch has placed a 20 million bounty.

News Band learnt that the Anambra Progressives, Diaspora branch has said it will pay a sum of 20 million naira to anyone or persons who have information that would lead to the arrest of those who attempted to assassinate Senator Dr Ikemba Ifeanyi Ubah at Enugu-Ukwu on September 11.

According to a statement signed by Barr. Dr. Peter Nwosu, the Diaspora branch condemned the attack on the Convener of Anambra Progressives which claimed the lives of two of his aides and two police orderlies.

Barr Nwosu said anyone with useful information to the arrest of the criminals will be rewarded with N20 million.
