As former Chairman of the board of the largest bus services limited in Nigeria “Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, former Commissioner for Transport and a Technocrat in Maritime Safety and Security Management”, a new Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) is about to be defined.
He made “Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority” to work and achieved great strides. A patriotic and reliable public servant indeed!
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, has done this appointment on merit.
Dr. Dayo Mobereola, Director General of NIMASA has achieved greatly in the transport sector and setting the pace for others to emulate.
Nigeria deserves the best hands in various sectors to assist override all the mismanagement and unprofessionalism that have enveloped some of the sectors.
NIMASA as a safety regulatory agency needs to earn a safer shipping and cleaner ocean for the nation through regulations.
