There was tragedy in National Assembly on Monday as House Committee clerk on Agricultural Production Services, Mr. Mohammed Shuaibu, slumped and died in the legislative complex.
It was gathered that the Mohammed drove himself to to work on Monday, ahead of a scheduled meeting of the committee.
As at the press time the cause of his death remained unknown though he complained of experiencing some discomfort, and slumped almost immediately and died
He was about 55 years old.
According to the chairman of the committee, Mohammed Monguno, who confirmed the death of his clerk said that his dedication to duty would be missed.

“He was a hard working officer, who was deployed in the committee about one year ago,” Monguno added.
Our correspondent gathered that he returned from Zaria (Kaduna State) yesterday (Sunday) and drove himself to work this morning and was looking healthy.
