PDP Anambra South senatorial primary result : Chief Chris Uba -931; Chief Obinna Uzor-20 and Chief Chuma Nzeribe -0 votes
The party delegates who turned out in large number at the Ekwulobia township stadium on Tuesday voted massively in full support of Chief Chris Uba.
The supporters went wild with joy and excitement when the party’s Chief Returning officer – Mr Ngozi Agudosi announced Chief as the winner having polled the highest number of lawful votes.
In his post-election remarks, Uba thanked the delegates immensely for the unflinching support, confidence and trust they have demonstrated to him.
He assured that he would not disappoint them.

He said he was concerned about their welfare, hence appealed to them to go inside the villages to canvass for more support and vote in the coming general elections so that he sweeps the stake.
