Calculated Selfishness & Greed Bane Of Imo State —Aloysius Osuji

A governorship aspirant in the 2019 Imo State gubernatorial election under the umbrella of MAJA Party, Chief Barrister Aloysius Osondu Osuji has identified persistent “pursuit of selfishness and greed” as the bane of development in Imo State.

Barrister Osuji made the remark after the MAJA Party meeting of Ohaji/Egbema LGA, Imo State, within the week.

Speaking to Elombah.com correspondent, he said:

“The failure to lay good foundation, from 1999 to the present has not come of mere chances of events or incidences.

“It is the result of calculated pursuit of selfishness and greed, which stories have been told and retold.”

Charting a way out of the situation, he enjoined Imo State citizens to team up with him in a determined effort to salvage the state from the cabal that has held it down for years.

He said: “Let us reclaim our land and lay good foundation that has eluded us, so that generations to come will be very proud of our achievements.”

Meanwhile, following the MAJA Party meeting of Ohaji/Egbema LGA, which was attended by all ward chairmen, Executives and other members of the party, the party stressed that it is making big progress.

Speaking at the opening remark, the party’s LGA Chairman started by thanking the ward A Chairman for hosting the meeting together with is EXCO.

He informed members of the party that the National Inauguration of the party will be soon and stressed that the party is making a big progress.

He said that presently the party’s 34 states structures have received Certificate from INEC.

He told members of the party that the membership card will soon be ready for distribution.

He also stated that what has been holding it was a minor mistake made in the design and that after the national inauguration of the party it will be ready for distribution.

He charged members of the party to be committed to the activities of the party  and that MAJA PARTY has come to stay and no force will ever stop it.

He however urged old and new members of the party to tune to 107 FM every morning and to search about the party in the internet, saying that much information about the party will be known through these portals.

In his speech, Comrade Oparaji Kevin Obieze urged members of the party to remain committed as there is no doubt that APC and PDP has failed Ndi Imo.

He stressed that imolites are looking for a good political party that will restore the lost hope of the imolites and that platform is MAJA party.

Comrade Obieze further reminded them that MAJA party now have a governorship candidate who is very fit and capable to win the gubernatorial seat of Imo come 2019.

He reiterated that Aloysius Osuji is an international business man who has invested heavily in Imo state as to provide jobs for the teaming unemployed youths of the state.

Obieze added that that Osuji is a philanthropist who has carried a lot of selfless services to Ndi Imo.

He reminded all and sundry that Osuji is a UK-trained and practicing lawyer to the excitement and delight of the members of the party.

He quickly pointed out that Chief Osondu is a humble man that doesn’t betray to who worked for him.

Members of the party expressed commitment to remain and to support the party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election come 2019.

The party chairman, thereafter, gave his closing remark and thanked members of the party for their interest and support and promised them that the party will not betray them as earlier said by Oparaji.
