Members of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] National Working Committee (NWC), led by the National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus has paid a visit to former president, General Ibrahim Babangida.
The just ended consultative meeting was held at his country home in Minna, the Niger State capital.
ElombahNews gathered that the news is in connection with the coalition movement being negotiated by PDP ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Recall that the newly formed Northern Leaders Stakeholders Assembly, led by the prominent northern politician, Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, also paid a visit to General Babangida on Sunday.
The meeting, it was gathered, was also to solicit his support towards the northern agenda for the upcoming 2019 elections.
With Yakassai at Babangida’s residence were Dr. Umaru Babangida Aliyu, Alhaji Abba Hana, Hajiya Inna Corona, Senator Joseph Waku, Hajiya Zainab Main, Alhaji Ghali Na Abba, Dr. Mohammed Data, Gimbia Rani, among others.
