Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare has, on Friday, been banned for 10-years by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).
AFP broke the news on its Twitter handle following the AIU statement.
Okagbare, a 2008 Beijing Olympics long jump silver medalist was expelled from last year’s Tokyo Olympics for doping violations.
She was also handed five years for the presence and use of multiple prohibited substances and five years for her refusal to co-operate with the AIU’s investigation into her case.
