Court Releases 112 detained pro-Biafra Women – photos
ElombahNews has been reliably informed that the 112 pro-Biafra women detained by security operatives have been released unconditionally the Owerri Magistrate Court.
The women were protesting for the release of incarcerated Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as well as members held in various detention facilities across the country.
In a message sent by the IPOB’s women’s lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor said they have been discharged and acquitted of all charges.
He wrote:
“All the 112 remaining IPOB women have just been discharged of all the frivolous charge filed against them by the police. Jubilation all over the places. We will take serious action against the police for the gross violation of their fundamental rights.”
