The Editor of News Band, Tim Elombah was, on early hours Wednesday, abducted by suspected herdsmen in Durumi area of Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to sketchy information provided by his wife, Mrs Stella Elombah, armed Fulani men struck their house in Durumi, Abuja when family members were fast asleep around 02:00 am and started breaking down the window.
She said, “when the suspected herdsmen invaded our compound, some people suspected to be herdsmen about five in number started shooting, and ordered him to open the door for them as he opened the door he was abducted.
“He was later released to the family after ransom was paid to the suspected herdsmen who invaded the area.
