Kobe Bryant, the NBA and MVP who spanned a 20-year career with the L.A. Lakers is dead.
News of his death was broken by Los Angeles Times on Twitter.
Los Angeles Times reported that Bryant died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, aged 41.
Kobe Bryant was killed Sunday when the helicopter he was traveling in crashed and burst into flames Sunday morning amid foggy conditions in the hills above Calabasas.
