A child soldier enlisted by the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) into Eastern Security Network (ESN), has revealed what prompted him to join the deadly squad of the separatist movement despite the group’s initial denial of his enlistment.
Recall that NewsBand last week had reported about the enlistment of child soldier into ESN by IPOB which however resulted to the legal representative of the group, Aloy Ejimakor to threaten NewsBand with a bogus legal action after he blatantly described the story as defamatory and false.
Meanwhile, in a recent video obtained by NewsBand, the same child soldier was heard during a video interview disclosing that he joined the deadly squad after Fulani herdsmen invaded his school, killed his teachers and some students.
Though he could not reveal the name of his so called school that was attacked by the terror herdsmen.
According to the child soldier who appeared to speaking based on a scripted story, said he was among the lucky ones that escaped the onslaught. So, he decided to pick up arms to defend his village.
