Following the growing hunger and hardship across the nation, angry residents in the Federal Capital Territory have raided a National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) warehouse in Karimo, Abuja, on Sunday, looting foodstuffs.

NewsBand gathered that the looters targeted foodstuffs and various items in their desperate bid to cushion the effect of the current hardship which the administration of President Bola Tinubu is doing little or nothing to address.

The FCT Police Command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident, assuring that it is now under control.

At the time of filing this report, operatives from the Nigeria Police Force have been drafted to the area to disperse the looters and secure the facility.
