Boko Haram fighter surrenders to troops

A Boko Haram fighter identified as Sajeh Yaga, has surrendered to the troops of Operation Hadin Kai in the North East of Borno state.

The criminal element, who reportedly sneaked out from their hideout in Yale in Sambisa forest, surrendered to troops of 112 Task Force Battalion in Mafa on April 28, 2024.

Security analyst and counter insurgency expert, Zagaza Makama quoting intelligence sources said that the terrorist surrendered with one Ak47 rifle, 4 Ak47 Magazines, six 7.62 MM special ammunitions and 3 techno mobile phones, among other items.

The surrendered suspect is currently said to be in military custody for proper profiling.
