Boko Haram attacked my home town for 11hrs without security intervention —Gov Zulum’s aide

Mr. Dogo M. Shettima, a Special Assistant to Governor Borno Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, and a Humanitarian/Social Welfare Officer has lamented that Boko Haram terrorists attacked his home town and operated for full eleven hours without security agencies’ intervention.
Mr. Shettima disclosed this on his Twitter handle on Sunday, December 27, wherein he tagged President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to him, the terrorists freely operated from 5pm to 4am this morning, Sunday 27th December, 2020 with no security in site.
The insurgents burned down several facilities including schools. It was not clear whether there were human casualties during the attack.
He tweeted:
Boko Haram: Yesterday Saturday 26th December 2020 at about 5pm in the evening , Boko Haram attacked my home town Tashan Alade in kwajaffa harang ward of Hawul LGA of Borno state .
The Insurgents operated from 5pm to 4am this morning Sunday 27th December 2020.”
He noted that the Insurgents burnt down houses , shops , school and churches and looted shops and pharmacy while properties worth millions of naira where destroyed.
He affirmed that as at the time of filling this report no life was lost.

Shettima replied by giving credit to the President Buhari regime. He noted, however, ‘we can call for improvement when attacks happen’.
He responded: “We have resettled many Communities with the approval and Support of @MBuhari, we ought to say this administration has done us better than previous government. And that’s doesn’t mean we can’t call for improvement when attacks happened (sic).”
