Army crushes top bandit commander, Sani Black
A top bandit commander, Sani Black has been crushed by the Nigerian troops in a vicious military operation.
The killing of the notorious terror leader, marks a turning point in the ongoing fight against banditry in the Northern region.
The operation which resulted to his death is part of a broader campaign that has seen the uprooting of several high-profile bandit figureheads over the past two years.
Meanwhile, among those recently eliminated by the Nigerian army, in conjunction with local vigilante are criminal figures such as Kachalla Ali Kawaje, the terrorist who masterminded the abduction of students from FUG in Gusau, and Kachalla Jafaru, Kachalla Barume, Kachalla Shehu, Tsoho, and Kachalla Yellow Mai Buhu. Other notable names include Yellow Sirajo, Kachalla Dan Muhammadu, Kachalla Makasko, Sanda, Abdulbasiru Ibrahim, Mai Wagumbe, Kachalla Begu, Kwalfa, Ma’aikaci, and Yellow Hassan.
Also, in recent operations, the following bandits were neutralized, Umaru Na Bugala, Isyaka Gwarnon Daji, Iliya Babban Kashi, Auta Dan Mai Jan Ido, and Yahaya Dan Shama. The latest casualties include Kacalla Ɗan Baleri, Kacalla Dogo Kwaɗɗi, Lawalli Dodo, Kacalla Naguru, Kacalla Ɗan-Babirki, Kacalla Hana-Zuwa, Kacalla Adamu, and the most recent, Kachallah Buzu, also known as Sububu.
These successes are attributed to the intensified efforts of Operation Hadarin Daji, in conjunction with the Zamfara State government-backed security network, which has created radical disruption within the criminal ring.
However, the ongoing operations reflect a determined commitment to restoring peace and security in the region.
