Appeal Court begins hearing on Obinna Uzor vs Ifeanyi Ubah

• Obinna Uzoh faces jail term for forgery, perjury and judicial fraud

• Chris Uba files joinder application

March 4, 2020 marks the beginning of the hearing on the appeal filed by Senator Dr Ikemba Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra south senatorial zone at the senate against the concocted judgement of the Bwari area court Abuja which sacked him and ordered the issuance of certificate of return to Dr Obinna Uzoh.

At the hearing yesterday, the counsel to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN raised a preliminary objection informing the court that the originating summons filed by one Anani Cletus who is a front to Dr Obinna Uzoh was not signed by any lawyer as required by law which renders the entire court processes and all they did at the Bwari area court Abuja incompetent.

The lawyer to Dr Obinna Uzoh in his defense lied to the Appellate court that the originating summons were signed and based on that position, the Appeal court adjourned till March 9, 2020 to enable Dr Obinna Uzoh produce the signed documents of the originating processes.

Investigation shows that truly, the originating summons were never signed by any lawyer which renders the entire processes of the concocted judgement Obinna Uzoh obtained against Ifeanyi Ubah as a nullity.

After the court hearing yesterday, the jittery Obinna Uzoh was said to have rushed to FCT high court to see how the fraud he committed at the court in his crooked attempt to unseat Ifeanyi Ubah could be remedied.

But it was too late, as the YPP senator had obtained the certified true copies of the processes. Not only that the court originating processes were fraudulent, Obinna Uzoh obtained and signed some of the fake documents he used in procuring the judgement under oath.

It was gathered that the FCT Police Criminal Investigation Bureau has commenced investigation on how this judicial fraud was committed and all those involved including the fake NECO certificate which they tendered to the Bwari area court will be brought to book.

At the same vein, Chief Chris Uba has filed an application to be joined in the appeal filed by senator Dr Ikemba Ifeanyi Ubah. While Chief Chris Uba is seeking to be joined at the Appeal court, he is also at another high court asking the lower court to jail the INEC chairman.

Recall that Chris Uba camp sometime ago obtained form 48 in a case of PDP Anambra state chapter crisis in which he attempted to commit the INEC chairman to prison.

In his futile attempt to go to the senate through the back door having lost at the polls, lost at the tribunal and Appeal court Enugu, Eselu has been moving from one kangaroo court to another seeking to rely on the fraudulent judgement of Dr Obinna Uzo to unseat the Prince of the Senate.

Chris Uba who claims to be the authentic candidate of PDP in the February 23, 2019 Anambra south senatorial election wants the court to substitute his name with that of Obinna Uzoh in the judgement of Bwari area court.

He had earlier obtained another crooked order of mandamus asking INEC to issue him with certificate of return.

However, the attention of the Appeal court was drawn to the activities of Chris Uba at the lower court while seeking to be joined in the appeal.

The Appellate court therefore restrained and suspended all proceedings at the lower court till March 9, 2020, when the hearing is expected to resume.

The sad route Dr Obinna Uzoh took to subvert due process will, no doubt, end up sending him to jail.
