The Acting National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA], Ozo Nwabueze Okafor, a.k.a. Okpochengene is dead.

Our Awka correspondent, who just confirmed his death over the phone, said he died after a very brief illness.

APGA Interactive Forum learnt that Ozo Okafor, who was healthy, suddenly complained of being weak, and died shortly.

Ozo Okafor, was the National President of ALGON

He was the Enugu East senatorial APGA candidate and later became the National Vice chairman of APGA southeast.

He was also the SUG president, University of Port Harcourt, and until his death, was the acting national chairman of APGA.

The question on the lips of all concerned observers is: “What next for APGA?”

The sudden death of Ozo Nwabueze Okafor, has thrown the party into another round of leadership vacuum.

Ozo Victor Ikechukwu Oye is still on suspension. The deputy chairmen North and South are also on suspension.

The NWC needs to meet and appoint an interim national chairman pending when the federal high court Abuja decides on the suit before it.

Okpochengene has done his bit. He died fighting for justice, restructuring, equity, fairness, all-inclusiveness and a better APGA, according to our correspondent.
