The game is changing as we inch closer to November 6 Anambra state governorship election. For those who understand the permutations going on, it is becoming a direct fight between the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) that was a threat before now decided to collapse its structures due to the wickedness of their leaders.

Almost all the party leaders in APGA and their foot soldiers who hitherto made the party what it was had dumped the party.

Few of the party leaders who are still in APGA are waiting to grab money meant for buying votes on the election day before they betray Soludo and Obiano.

Up till now the 50 million naira Oga promised the remaining state assembly members in order to block them from defecting to other parties have not been paid.

He is afraid that they would collect the money and still defect.

With these fears, APGA resort to bribing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials as widely reported this weekend. They know they have lost.

Their own members deserted the party and those remaining want to see the party sink.

Their attempts to militarize their campaign venues have also failed as people now close shops, markets and offices and flee to their homes whenever APGA campaign is announced to hold in any town in Anambra state.

With APGA out, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has never been an option. Andy Uba is an illegal candidate of APC. There was no primary election as reported by INEC and the Department of Security State (DSS).

The party leaders have also rejected him.

But unlike APGA where members are leaving, APC aggrieved members especially the Ngige men in APC want to remain in APC and ensure that Andy loses on November 6.

His attempts to buy politicians and use them as a cover are not working. Apart from Senator Oduah and Ifeanyi Ibezi, others have no capacity.

None of them can call a ward meeting of their own people and ask them to vote for APC, you will go with bruises. It is that bad.

The game is now between YPP and PDP.

It is between Ikemba Ndigbo, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and Valentine Chineto Ozigbo.

The fear of Andy Uba is over and that’s why some APGA chieftains decamped to PDP last week. Ifeanyi Ubah is already ahead in both strategy and planning.

On November 6 ka oga ebi.
