The result of the autopsy carried out on the late Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nnamdi Okafor, has indicated that the lawmaker died of heart attack.
News Band had reported that Hon. Okafor slumped and died last month barely three months after the demise of the lawmaker representing Aguata Two Constituency, Hon. Okechukwu Okoye.
The majority Leader slumped and died in South Africa where the House members were on a legislative retreat.
Reacting to the autopsy, our correspondent, Mr. Eneh Victor Chigozie bemused:
“The question is, what actually led to the heart attack? Was he having high blood pressure?
“Since the death of this quiet gentle man, there has been reports that he was into huge debt amounting to over a hundred million naira.
“This young man spent everything he saved as a lawmaker to secure APGA ticket to contest for House of Representatives.
“The scoundrels in APGA milked him. They drained him of his savings. Promised him ticket and disappointed him.
“The young man became a walking spirit, smiling in pains.”
