Anambra: Gov. Soludo declares state of emergency on roads
The executive governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has declared state of emergency on dilapidated and abandoned infrastructures in the state, especially roads.
The governor made the declaration at a town hall meeting with traditional rulers, presidents-general of communities, youths and women groups in the state.
According to Soludo, the government would embark on massive road construction as this he noted, will ease transportation and movement of goods and services across the 326 electoral wards of the State’s 21 Council areas.
