While some of the Anambra governorship aspirants are presently busy with collection of Nomination and Expression of Interest forms, Dr Chukwudozie Nwankwo is already looking beyond that stage of political activity.
Addressing journalists in his meet-the-media chat in Awka, Dr Nwankwo said that he would use the first hundred days of his administration to establish transformation powerpoint of what the state would witness in the next four years of his administration.
While responding to a question on what would engage his priority attention once he’s sworn in, Nwankwo said, “I will try to decongest Onitsha, Nnewi and also be able to set out five mega projects within parts of the state.
“Then the Awka capital city and environs would be given a major lift to give it true status of state capital of a grade “A” state like Anambra.
“Within my first 100 days we will be able to set the stage going to show Anambra citizens what we intend to do in the coming one year.
“The first 100 days would be used to kickstart what to expect in the next one year. It’ll show the citizens that we are not making empty promises.”
In his words, “Anambra will never be the same again, and many would want to relocate to this state. Every city -Awka, Onitsha, Ekwulobia, Oko, Nnewi, Agulu, Igboukwu and others, will become attractive models for investors and residents as all that make for conducive living would be provided.
“Other states would line up to emulate our pattern. The insecurity and restiveness would be tackled subtly through provision of jobs to be provided by the influx of investors and industries”, the confident-filled chief executive of Wichtech Industries noted.
