Anambra 2021: My advice to decampees ~ by Eneh Victor

Senator Andy Uba is not a new name in the politics of Anambra state.

Senator Andy Uba is known for two major things.

1. He does not believe in free and fair election.
2. He does not show appreciate after INEC declares him winner.

Let’s talk about number 2 this is where it affects the decampees.

It is on record that after every election, Senator Andy Uba will leave Anambra state and never returns again until another 4 years when he will return to contest the next election.

It is on record that after election, Andy Uba will not pick the call of those who worked for him during election.

It is on record that Andy Uba only attends occasions and functions during campaigns. After election, lose or win, he disappears and will never attends any event in Anambra state or southeast till another 4 years.

How can a man who behaves like that make a good governor. Gov Obiano failed because he is an oversea governor. He spends more time in USA than Anambra. Andy Uba will be an Abuja governor. He can’t stay at Awka.

When he was a Senator, how many common voters from his senatorial zone were able to see him at his Office at the National Assembly?

How many times had he returned to his home at Uga and spent a week where villagers and party members visit him and dine with him?

How many times have you seen Andy Uba walk on the streets of Anambra taking records of the plights of our people?

Andy Uba cannot be a governor for the people. He is not the type that will associate with ordinary people on the street.

During the COVID-19 lockdown that people were forced into sit at home without food, Andy Uba was the only politician that stayed back at Abuja and never cared to ask how his own people were fairing.

There was no palliative and no support. He never cared if all of us died of hunger.

This is election, there are pertinent questions to ask anyone coming to ask for your vote.

Andy Uba was a senator for 8 years. He was a close aide to Obasanjo for 8 years, but he is still telling ndi Anambra that I will do this, I will do that if elected, instead of I did this, I did that, if you vote for me I will do more.

The truth is that those decamping to APC because of Andy Uba guber project are only interested in collecting their share of the fund raised by APC governors. They will vote against Andy and APC on November 6.

It is only hunger that’s driving people to APC for Andy Uba. At least, he is the only candidate sharing money for now.

But don’t bother; Anambra is not for APC.

APC is unpopular.

Andy is unpopular too.

Two bad products.
