Chants of joy and liberation rent the air as Senator Ubah moves round communities on roadshow
To most political watchers and analysts , events that took place yesterday during the campaign road show embarked upon by the governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party ( YPP) , Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has drawn a clear marker and direction on where the people of the State are leaning towards as the polls in November close in .
The love and massive acceptance that the Distinguished Senator commands in the state was on full display yesterday, as the people danced with joy on sighting him on top of his unique campaign (platforms) vehicles as they walked long distances with the convoy dancing , cheering and reaffirming the strong belief and trust they repose in him to change the face of politics in the State.
The long campaign convoy of the Young Progresives Party literary shut down the areas visited for hours as cheering masses trooped out to welcome, identify with the party’s candidate, Senator Ubah and jostled for their campaign materials.
The grassroots general and undisputed leader of the ordinary men and women on the streets of Anambra was received at the areas visited during the ROADSHOW by cheering crowds most of whom quickly left their various places of work (shops, mechanic workshops, etc.) on sighting him to express their support and solidarity for him.
The roadshows which is billed to continue today will be concluded on Friday after which the campaign train will embark on visits to the entire wards in the State in what it terms “the cricket movement ” a move aimed at returning to the grassroots where it draws its strength from, to educate our people on how to vote and defend their votes come November 6th, 2021.
