In a release signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Joe Igbokwe the Party says the court verdict goes once again to prove there is no meeting point between light and darkness, between progress and backwardness, between serenity and confusion and between performance and nonperformance.
“Lagos PDP has never posed any serious threat to AD, AC, ACN, or APC in Lagos in the past 16years because Lagosians have never considered the party as a serious alternative. To them Lagos is too important in Nigeria to be left in the hands of mediocres, apprentices and learners”
“While APC leaders and supporters were busy campaigning all over Lagos, Lagos PDP and its leaders were busy plotting with former President Jonathan how to steal Lagos by any means possible including the use of brute force and intimidation”
“While APC campaigned with every energy, strength and power at its disposal, Lagos PDP were busy working with OPC, Security Agencies, non-indigenes, and criminals to subvert the entire process and go ahead to grab Lagos. We saw our campaign material being brought down all over Lagos and PDP seizing the entire space. They almost installed Billboards in our National leader’s Home in Bourdillion, Ikoyi”
“While rejoicing with our Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, we want to remind His Excellency that the sum total of every man’s achievement is simply the beginning of a new journey. The reward for hard work is more work”
“APC Lagos urges Governor Ambode to continue to show humility and magnanimity to all Lagosians even in the face of success. In the cause of campaigns and elections we are partisan, but once elections are won and lost it is partnership”
