Ahead of Saturdays convention, Buhari feats with Tinubu, Amaechi, Akande & others

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday night, hosted some of the founding fathers of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to a dinner at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
NewsBand gathered that the President hosted the dinner to show appreciation to important stakeholders of the party for their persistent support, understanding and cooperation to his government as well as keeping faith with the goals and ideals of the ruling party for national salvation.
The feast, it was gathered, was also in furtherance of genuine efforts by Buhari at ensuring a hitch free and successful National Convention of the party slated on Saturday.

The dinner was attended by the First Interim Chairman of the APC, Chief Bisi Akande; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Dr Ogbomnaya Onu, Rochas Okorocha, Ibrahim Shekarau and Aliyu Magatakarda Wamako.
Also in attendance were Governors Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna, Aminu Masari of Katsina, and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
The Chairman of the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the party governor Mai Buni and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha were also in attendance.
