Abia varsity medical student who died in auto crash to be buried today

One of the 500 level Abia State University medical student, Princess Favour Nwanyidolla Okpanku who died in a fatal auto crash with two others while returning to Aba from the school’s induction of medical students last week Thursday, will be laid to rest today.

NewsBand reported that the driver of the vehicle was said to be on high speed when the unfortunate accident occured at the Okigwe axis of the Enugu Port Harcourt Expressway.

Also, two other individuals travelling with them sustained injuries.

They were immediately rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Umuahia, where they were treated and discharged thereafter.

However, brother to the late Princess, Mr Paul Okpanku announced the funeral ceremony in a post on his official Facebook page.

He said, “Beloved sibling Princess Favour Nwanyidolla Okpanku, though not physically here, I feel your loving spirit always. You brought laughter into our lives. I miss you deeply but know you’ll live forever in my heart. I love you always, precious sister Like Sleeping Beauty rests until the day our fates align.

“It is with a heavy heart that I inform you my friends and well-wishers that my beloved sister Nwanyidolla will be laid to rest on Wednesday the 27th of March 2024. I’m broken by her demise, but who am I to question God? I have seen your several posts, messages, received your calls and your visitations to commensurate with my family at this time of grief, may God meet you all at the point of your needs.

“Pls join me and family in prayers that favour’s soul rest in perfect peace.”
