Abia State Speaker, Rt. Hon Chinedum Orji has stated that mischief-makers are circulating fake palliative pictures with his photo printed on it.

Hon. Orji disassociated himself and his office from such palliative while reacting to the photo which went viral on social media.

He advise mischief makers to focus on doing something better rather than spreading fake news about their leaders.

He also urged Abians to obey the state government directives aimed at curbing the current pandemic.

Recall that the Speaker had earlier distributed hand sanitizers and started awareness campaigns as part of efforts to prevent the unlikely outbreak of the virus and its spread in the state.

Items which the Speaker claimed he has made available for distribution as palliatives to the people include 500 bags of rice, 2,000 cartons of noodles and 3,000 bags of garri.
