8 days to re-declaration of Biafra: All we want is the sovereign state of Biafra

Innocent Orji arrived and announced 27-30th of October BNG live broadcast and just as we were weighing the cons and pros, he firmly declared 30th of October will be the date Biafra is re-declared a sovereign state and defended.

Since the announcement; some unscrupulous elements have started showing glimpse of sabotage. Nigerian government would definitely recruit elements to cause disunity and make mischief but with strong media presence and common sense; Biafra would triumph.

General Innocent Orji of BNG did not ask anyone to contribute money for BNG to do the needful. He did not call for any form of fund raising that has become the reason for Biafra agitation among civilian groups. He did not ask anyone to help or play any role; rather, he informed the people he represents that our national army will be taking the stage on 30th of October. At least; our army has some pride left.

What exactly is pricking few persons? Are they opposed to Biafra restoration or only trying to make money? Biafra will be a sovereign state irrespective of what anyone thinks and believes. Our national army will discharge her duties and ensure our pride as a people is protected.

Innocent Orji went into detention in 2007. More than a decade, he was away and there was sufficient chance for anybody who could offer something to do so. All the leaders or persons currently agitating for Biafra have been in it for more than a decade and practically, there is no Biafra yet. We only see fund raising meetings, counter-fund raising, financial pleas and many ways of extortion.

We have to admit the simple fact that the people that have been agitating for Biafra since 1999 to date could not restore Biafra. Innocent Orji left the scene and came back only to learn that Biafra is still not achieved and neither did he see anybody willing to embrace the only door way to Biafra. He did not condemn anyone; rather, he began to work his way to success.

Innocent Orji has repeatedly made it clear that if he sees anyone ready to fight for the practical restoration of Biafra, he would help but when there is no one brave enough to embrace the fight for the restoration of Biafra, it waited for him until he came out of detention and announced the first major breakthrough.

Let it be clear that radio ranting cannot restore Biafra. Facebook live streaming and ranting cannot restore Biafra. Protest from now till next century cannot restore Biafra. Referendum is not a possibility from Nigeria. Negotiation is only a route to surrender. Everything we have seen since the absence of Innocent Orji to date is nothing but futility and that is why it was imperative for Orji to announce a re-declaration date.

Innocent Orji only knew Uwazurike and was detained more than a decade only to make a comeback recently. The likes of Nnamdi Kanu IPOB; Ben Onwuka Zionist, Asari Dokubo BNC and others barely know Innocent Orji or seen him in person. There was sufficient time for anyone that had something to offer to do so. Life did not become easier because Innocent Orji was released and neither did his release give anybody wisdom he/she was lacking before now. What was not done more than a decade cannot be done in this conservative stage of life.

What the people of Biafra want or care about is the sovereign state of Biafra and whoever delivers Biafra is their hero and idol. Biafrans are not here because of any man and Biafra supersedes. Innocent Orji is offering something different from everyone. He is of a military ideology while others are of civil ideology and methodology differs.

Nnamdi Kanu cannot re-declare Biafra and defend it. Asari cannot re-declare Biafra and defend it. Ben Onwuka cannot re-declare Biafra and defend it. Ralph Uwazurike cannot re-declare Biafra and defend it. There is virtually no one that can re-declare Biafra and defend it except Innocent Orji. So if Innocent Orji has chosen to re-declare Biafra and defend it and anybody rears his ugly head to attack Innocent Orji, the commander of our national army- such person should either be seen as mentally sick or one Nigerian apologist doing everything possible to stop the restoration of Biafra.

General Innocent Orji cannot do it alone. He needs Asari, Nnamdi Kanu, Ralph Uwazurike, BNYL and everyone of us. That should be the mentality and not the mentality of cheap blackmail.
