6 Islamic clerics feared dead in auto crash after Da’awah in Sumaila

At least, six Islamic clerics in Kano State have died from a ghastly motor accident on Wednesday after Islamic propagation outreach, Da’awah.
The clerics were said to be returning from Da’awah in Sumaila Local Government area, supported by Imam Malik Islamic Foundation when the unfortunate incident happened.
A staff of the foundation, who doesn’t want to be mentioned, said they had received the news of the incident at about 3:00pm.
According to the staff, the information they received was that all six clerics, who were the leaders of the Da’awah died instantly.
It also added that there was no information on the fate of other staff who accompanied the clerics to the Islamic duty in Sumaila.
The deceased were under the leadership of Sheikh Alkassim Zakariyya, who reportedly died in the accident.
When contacted, the spokesperson of Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC, Abdullahi Labaran, said the command is yet to receive the information, but he would investigate the incident.
