2023: PDP Governors, Senators visit IBB, Abdulsalami in Minna

Some governors and Senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Monday, paid a consultation visit to former Heads of State, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd.) and Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd.) in Minna, the capital of Niger State.
Among the governors present were Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Engineer Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, former Benue State Governor and current Senator representing Benue North-East Senatorial District, Gabriel Suswam, et al.
The visit is coming as preparations for the 2023 general elections are gathering speed.
Reacting after the visit, Governors Ezenwo Wike said:
“I thank Gen Babangida (rtd) and Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) for a warm reception. Our consultation in Mina was very insightful and rewarding.
