The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has adjusted the proposed dates for its Primaries.
PDP has also communicated the new date to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The new dates are as follows:
House of Assembly – Saturday 21st of May.
House of Representatives – Sunday 22nd of May.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the PDP National Chairman, Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu and National Secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu.
The statement also stated that due to sit-at-Home that is being observed in the Southeast on Mondays, the Senate Primaries will now hold on Tuesday May 24th, 2022.
