2019: Aloysius Osuji Promises Instant Jobs To Imo Youth Coppers
As MAJA holds convention in Owerri
A frontline aspirant in the 2019 Imo State governorship election under the umbrella of MAJA [Mass Action Joint Alliance] party, Chief Barrister Aloysius Osuji has promised Imo State National Youth Service Corpers instant jobs if and when elected as governor of the state.
Chief Osuji made the pledge on Sunday following the MAJA convention which held in Saturday in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Speaking with ElombahNews on his intentions to get the mass Youth Corpers employed, he said:
“My administration will make sure that our NYSC graduates must be posted to serve in institutions in Imo State in line with their field of studies.
“There they will be retained for permanent full time employment after their service,” he promised.
Meanwhile, MAJA party, which is fast becoming a grassroots party, had a convention yesterday in Owerri.
ElombahNews correspondents, who were on ground, confirmed that the convention “was very successful”.
The convention was attended by various representatives from diverse Local Government Areas.
An Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] representative was on ground at the conference and advised on way forward for the young party.
The event recorded unprecedented massive turnouts as ElombahNews correspondent stressed that the message is getting through to the grass roots.
Chief Osuji, on his part, assured that he will work hard to ensure that Imo state stands out positively and distinctive different.
