Dear Ediabali,

This is my first open letter to you. I always prefer meeting you face to face because your passion and influence are without measure. But it is good that today I choose this path. So the public and Biafran populace could hear us.

I was contacted by a European member of IPOB who told me he was tired of sabotage from Southsouth. He further said Southeast alone should exit Nigeria because Southsouth is lagging behind. Asking why we should continue to drag people that don’t want to go with us?

I did shun him immediately and reminded him how in 2015 we were waxing stronger together than ever. I remember I toured Southsouth and Biafra was hugely accepted. If things went wrong recently; why not sit back and scrutinize ourselves than trade blames or heap it on one side? Southsouth is more Biafran than Southeast. Something caused the rejection if truly there is. Even though; it is a different ball game when IPOB is rejected from when Biafra is rejected. Rejecting IPOB doesn’t mean rejecting Biafra.

I shunned him because he is a one-way thinker. He forgot that things began to fall apart when Kanu chose to fight the only active Biafran in Southsouth speaking everyday and uniting our politically divided region. Who else with your exposure and in your class left everything for Biafra? The funny part is; the man is yet to admit the mistake of his leader who destroyed efforts of many years against divide and rule. Let’s call a spade a spade and bury the hatchet.

Nnamdi Kanu as the figure championing BIAFRA then made a huge mistake by crashing your relationship with him. I remember it started with Anambra state election. You were of the opinion election should hold (for us to elect leaders that will politically fight for Biafra) and instead of come down from his high horse to debate or reason with a brother, he began character assassination and childish accusation of giving you Twenty Million Naira.

Sir; you didn’t see this beyond physical. You should have known that Nnamdi Kanu was probably a victim of numerous sacrifices against Biafra. The Nigerian oligarchy is fighting physically and spiritually to destroy Biafra and your problem with Nnamdi Kanu was not ordinary. I might be superstitious but there is element of truth when closely assessed.

How could Nnamdi Kanu for any reason wake up and ignite discord with the lone stakeholder in Southsouth that is carrying the banner of our politically battered and fragile unity? Nigeria long believed that by destroying our unity; they could get the better of us and all of a sudden Nnamdi Kanu helped them towards achieving that by attacking you.

Sir, I have toured Southsouth and can authoritatively say you are the only obvious stakeholder carrying the issue of Biafra and fighting the disunity Nigerian government targeted as a tool to rule over us. Who else with your political savor, indigenous position, popularity and class is openly pursuing Biafra, actively and otherwise?

I saw how kids on social media who said they are fighting for Biafra under Nnamdi Kanu were attacking your personality. Of course, the juju and sacrifices against Biafra affected Kanu and littered among his members. But, those kids have nothing to offer Biafra. Even mature kids among them. I ignored them, devil is using them unknowingly. You too can ignore them, we have a destiny to fulfill.

On behalf of genuine Biafrans, I apologise and wish to remind you once more that 3.5 Million people died for this and we won’t abandone or lose focus for one minute. I also plead you forgive Nnamdi Kanu. Let us move on. We are doing this to save our lives. Overlook everything Kanu did. A new beginning is here.

Your father fought this war. He would be proud of your actions today.

You will continue to hold the ground for Biafra in Southsouth. We have conquered their divide and rule. We shouldn’t let down our gauntlets. Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of a group called IPOB in Biafra. IPOB has no Biafran mandate whatsoever as confirmed by a ruling at ECOWAS. Nnamdi Kanu’s issue is personal and an exception. His group has done their part like MASSOB. They will leave the stage at some point. So, it would be foolish to allow the issue influence Biafra.

We have to come back to the status quo. Forget those agents telling you Igbos insulted and betrayed you. Nnamdi Kanu is not Igbo and doesn’t represent Biafra but his IPOB group. Be stronger than you were before because your importance to Biafra is much more than the instigator.

I write to bring to you the news of BNG which I have on good authority confirmed you have officially been informed long time ago. You were the first to be informed about BNG and while live broadcast of BNG is fasting approaching, I have nothing but respect to openly remind you once more of this very military institution.

I represent the interest of Biafrans. I don’t need anyone’s permission to unite our people towards achieving the goal of Biafra. It is upon this that I call your attention to the upcoming live broadcast. Knowing that you are highly placed to influence proceedings afterwards.

You are always welcomed and you will always be listened to on matters concerning Biafra. BNG has nothing but respect for you. BNG will listen to you and work closely with you on achieving the goal of Biafra. I trust the willingness of BNG to respect everyone fighting for our right to self determination.

You have fought for our people in Southsouth when you did and your wisdom is needed for the ones coming after you or continuing from where you stopped. BNG is a military institution mandated by late commander in chief of Biafran army, General Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu. Their ideology is purely to militarily restore Biafra.

Unity of purpose will go a long way. There would be hard times and good times but like fine soldiers, we have to endure. We have to stand firm and know victory is ours in the end. We will lose our lives but victory is guaranteed.

I personally do not know what BNG has for our people on the day of live broadcast but hence it’s towards the restoration of Biafra, let us support them and make it count.

As I support their genuine move with pen. It’s within the confine of international law to express. With one mind and heart; we would come out victorious. Let us prepare our minds and be ready to be good stakeholders.

Biafra is for all of us and it is big for all of us to live and manage to our standard. Nobody will supreme over another and nobody will have unequal right.

Yours faithfully,
