Following the disappointing outing in their last two games, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have promised aggrieved fans to do the impossible to qualify for the world cup.

This is coming after they drew with their arch-rival, South Africa and lost to Benin Republic on Monday.

Finidi George, the Super Eagles head coach has been under intense attack following the poor results of their two last games.

But while trying to calm angry fans, the Eagles in a post on the official Facebook page of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) expressed concern over how their two last games panned out.

According to the Eagles, they have had talks among themselves and resolved to fight hard till the end to ensure they do the impossible which is to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

The post reads, “We are back in the country and we are not happy about the way the two games panned out. We have had talks among ourselves and have resolved to fight hard till the end to ensure we do the impossible which is qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. We don’t take your support for granted, we thank you immensely. #SoarSuperEagles”.
