We, the lovers of freedom, justice, and development in Nigeria, say an emphatic “NO” to the attempt by certain moneybags to repackage Criminocracy as Democracy for Nigerians.
Criminocracy is the government of criminals by criminals who capture political power through criminal activities. We have had enough devastation under such fellows who acquired political power in the past unconstitutionally, viz Yakubu Gowon, Murtala Mohammed, Olusegun Obasanjo, Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Sani Abacha, and Abdusalaami Abubakar.
We vehemently refuse to continue to be led by those who sponsor criminals to compromise our democratic processes to their advantage.
Free and fair elections are to democracy what oxygen is to human life. Those who made the conduct of free and fair elections impossible during the 2023 General Elections in Nigeria have murdered our democracy. They cannot, therefore, take over power as democratically-elected officers of the state. Crimes must not be allowed to be beneficial.
