VIDEO: INEC has allowed us access to only 2 out of 36 states, Peter Obi’s counsel cries out
Mr. Livy Uzoukwu, SAN, lead counsel to the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of high-handedness respecting the inspection of election materials, including the Commission’s server.
It could be recalled that a federal judge had granted Peter Obi and his party, LP, leave to inspect the server following alleged massive manipulation of the results of the presidential and National Assembly elections held on February 25, 2023.

However, despite several efforts, Uzoukwu, SAN, was seen on television lamenting that the electoral umpire had granted access only to 2 states, despite requesting for only nine states for a start.
In the attached video, Uzoukwu said: “We needed 36 States; we requested for 9 states but as at today we have only been allowed access to 2 states. I am not impressed with INEC.”
