Terrorists abduct 5 female varsity students in Katsina

Gunmen suspected to be bandits, have raided another hostel of a federal university in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State, abducting at least five female students from the institution in the North-West area.

A relative of one of the victims, Muhammad Fatima, from Kwara State’s Lafiagi town, confirmed the latest abduction on Wednesday morning.

This medium gathered that the terrorists on Wednesday morning invaded the students’ private lodge along Moriamoh Ajiri School at Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State and carted away no fewer than five female students of the university living in the area.

It was gathered that three of the abducted students hailed from Kwara State, one is from Kano and another is from Niger State.

The students from Kwara are identified as Muhammad Fatima, Bello Fatima Zara, and Adam Rahmatallahi. The names of the two other students have not been identified at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, Katsina State police command is yet to issue a statement in respect to the development.
