The first batch of Nigerians fleeing Sudan have finally arrived in Nigeria on Wednesday night in Abuja.

The Air Peace flight carrying over 282 Nigerian students from the Aswan Airport in Egypt first landed at the airport, with the NAF C-130H jet conveying about 94 persons following closely behind.

The Nigerian evacuees from Sudan on Thursday receive the sum of N100,000 each upon their return to the country.

They also got N25,000 worth of recharge cards and 1.5 Gigabytes of data.
