Soldiers rescue 1 y.o crawling child in Sambisa forest after mum died

Troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued a one year old child crawling around in Sambisa forest after its mother died leaving the child helpless.

News of the humanitarian gesture was contained in a WhatsApp message sent to News Band by a contributor.

According to the report, the child, picked up by soldiers in Sambisa forest, was spotted crawling in the bush.

The soldiers thought the child was dropped by some miscreants as a bait to ambush them.

They, however, combed the Bush but found no one.

They watched the child crawled into a big hole after playing, tired and maybe hungry and followed him gently as he entered the hole.

The Soldiers looked inside the hole and saw a decomposed body of a woman from her waist down her feet, while from her stomach to her head was relatively fresh, though dead.

The report shows that the child crawls into the hole when he’s Hungary to suck his mother’s breast, after which, he comes out to play.

It was understood that the child was preserved as part of his mother’s undecayed body feeds the helpless child.

The reporter expressed awe that the child was safeguarded day and night from wild animals and other vices.
