Serbia arrests Afghan sniper, general wanted by France
An Afghan general and sniper, both wanted by France on terrorism charges, were arrested by Serbian police on Thursday during a raid on a migrant camp in the Balkan country.
Cops seized the pair at the camp near Subotica along with a cache of arms, ammunition and drugs.
Their capture follows the discovery last month of 600 illegal migrants after a shootout in a town near the Hungarian border which left one person wounded.
