Senator Ubah hosts Ozubulu stakeholders, reaffirms will to promote businesses, human capital dev’t

Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, on Thursday, February 02, held an interactive session with Ozubulu stakeholders led by the President General of the town union.

Senator Ubah reaffirmed his commitment towards the promotion of businesses and human capital development as he plays host to major stakeholders from Ozubulu at his Umuanuka residence.

During the event, Ubah donated eighty million naira for rehabilitation of Nnewi-Ozubulu Road.

He also donated additional one hundred units of solar powered facilities and new electricity transformer to Ozubulu community as well as five million naira for intervention works at Ozubulu Boys Secondary School_

The Senator representing Anambra South and candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah reassured traders and operators of various businesses within the Senatorial District that his office will always put in measures to support and protect their interests.

Senator Ubah made the remarks when he hosted leaders and stakeholders of Ozubulu Development Union at his Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi residence.

Addressing the visitors, Senator Ubah maintained that businessmen and women contribute immensely to nation-building and should be given every needed support and encouragement.

Senator Ubah who was flanked by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah and the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka also reassured the visitors that his office will put in more efforts to attract quality projects and programmes to Ozubulu, Ekwusigo and other parts of Anambra South Senatorial District.

Speaking on the plans by his office to promote the wellbeing of ndị Ozubulu and residents of Ekwusigo Local Government Area, the Anambra South Senator disclosed that his office has already taken necessary actions to address some vital issues faced by the communities.

He further said that notwithstanding the fact that he has already inserted into the 2023 Appropriation Act, a provision for the second phase of the Nnewi-Ozubulu-Okija road, but in response to appeals by the community residents, Senator Ubah donated eighty million naira for the immediate commencement of rehabilitation of Nnewi-Ozubulu Road

The Anambra South Senator further donated five million naira for intervention works at Ozubulu Boys Secondary School, a brand new electricity transformer and additional one hundred units of solar powered facilities to Ozubulu community.

Announcing the donation of the additional solar powered facilities, Senator Ubah disclosed that the facilities are meant to light up the communities and encourage safety, freedom of movement at night, including trading.

Speaking on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah appreciated the people of Ozubulu and Ekwusigo Local Government Area for their continuous supports and urged them to cement their unalloyed love and supports for him by voting massively for the Young Progressives Party (YPP), in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections as that will guarantee sustenance of quality programmes within Anambra South Senatorial District.

Also speaking, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Chief Vin Onyeka, appreciated ndị Ozubulu and residents of Ekwusigo Local Government Area for their continuous trust and supports for the Young Progressives Party (YPP).

Chief Onyeka further reassured the visitors that Senator Ubah will leave no stone unturned in deploying his huge influence as a major player in the country’s economic and political space into partnering with relevant authorities to promote their wellbeing.

He urged them to remain focused and consolidate their huge supports for the Senator by voting massively for YPP in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections.

In his remarks, the leader of Ozubulu Stakeholders Chief Jude Mbaegbu appreciated Senator Ubah for his giant efforts towards promoting the wellbeing of ndị Ozubulu and Ekwusigo communities.

Chief Mbaegbu also disclosed that they were there to appreciate the Senator for his selflessness and dexterity in attracting numerous projects for the Senatorial district even as a first-timer.

He further described Senator Ubah as a great asset of Anambra South residents and assured him that ndị Ozubulu and Ekwusigo will not only give him maximum support but will also vote massively for YPP in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections. Chief Mbaegbu also urged the Senator to remain focused and prayed for more divine grace and protection upon him.

Responding on behalf of members and leaders of Ozubulu community, the President-General of Ozubulu Development Union (ODU) Engr. Chris Ononuju appreciated Senator Ubah for his care and support towards the community’s development.

Chief Ononuju also appreciated the Senator for his numerous legislative actions that are aimed at protecting the interests of various legitimate businesses especially those that operate within Anambra South Senatorial District and reassured him that Ozubulu community will always stand by him as partners in economic development.

Also present at the event were the Young Progressives Party (YPP), candidate for 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency election, Hon Peter Uzokwe, the party’s candidate for 2023 Ekwusigo State Constituency election, Lady Juliet Anaeme, Chief Aloy Mbaegbu and other executive members of Ozubulu Development Union including the union’s Vice President-General Chief Emeka Obidike and Secretary Arch Chukwudi Mbadugha.
