Senate Declares ‎War On Customs CG, Orders Him To Come In Uniform

Crisis between the Senate and Nigerian Customs Comptroller- ‎General Hammed over one month Vehicles duty policy deepened as the Red the Red Chamber ordered CG to come and address the entire Senate in his appropriate Uniform.

Senate had on Tuesday directed the Nigerian Customs to halt its planned policy on Vehicles duty pending the conclusion of the scheduled meeting between Custom and Senate Committee on Customs.

However, on Wednesday Senator Dino Melaye called the attention of the Senate to absolute disregard to the resolution of the Senate on the newly introduced policy which is scheduled to be enforced on April 12.
