Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah reiterates commitment towards actualization of a new Anambra

The candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in November 6th, 2021 Anambra gubernatorial election, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, August 28, 2021, thanked Ndị Anambra for accepting and massively championing his Open Door Revolutionary message.

He also appreciated the huge participation in the Phase one of the party’s online membership registration in the State.

Addressing hundreds of Registrants who gathered at his country home in Umuanuka, Otolo Nnewi on his invitation , Senator Ubah thanked them for believing in the (coming) new Anambra vision of a State where various institutions and developmental indices would work for good of the masses.

He expressed great joy and fulfilment at the massive numbers that turned out during the exercise to register with the Party, and urged them to maintain the momentum till the polls on November 6th 2021.

Indeed Ndị Anambra spoke with “one voice” by affirming Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as the only candidate in the race with such massive grassroots appeal, judging by the way masses trooped out during the days of the first Phase of the YPP’s online registration exercise.

Ndi-Anambra who missed being captured in that phase have solicited for their inclusion, hence the decision to commence a second phase soon.

Senator Ubah thanked the youthful, proficient ICT Registrants for the professionalism, dexterity and finesse they exhibited during the course of the past exercise and expressed confidence in their ability to do even better during the second phase.

This will enable them digitally register the over Three Hundred Thousand persons that have already registered manually but could not be digitally captured earlier.

The YPP candidate assured Anambrarians that by registering with the Party, they have taken a bold step that would help in actualizing a New Anambra where human capital development, as well as various other sectors of the State economy, will receive adequate government attention.

Speaking on his vision for the State, Senator Ubah lamented that successive administrations in the State have not done enough to give the State the status it deserves and attributed this to godfathers who use the State as business enterprise by imposing on it candidates that are not well equipped and ready for the art of governance.

He reassured them, that when elected, YPP government will champion a governance module that will plan and execute a master plan that will give the State the massive facelift it deserves.

Senator Ubah however reminded the people that the vision for a new Anambra can only be achieved through the ballot and urged them to troop out en masse and vote for YPP on November 6, in order to usher in the new Anambra of (our) dream.

In his contribution, the State Chairman of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) , Prince Moses Obi, thanked the ICT Registrants and residents in the State, respectively, for a job well done and for believing in the Party.

He further informed them that preparations are in top gear for the commencement of the second phase of the online membership registration exercise.

He also urged them to secure their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) as they head towards making great history on November 6.

Adding his voice, Dr Vincent Onyeka, the Secretary of Anambra Progressives and Development Union In Diaspora , thanked Ndị Anambra for believing in YPP.

He stated that the key advantage of this exercise is the interest that mostly the youths have shown by getting their PVCs as that will raise the number of people that are going to vote during the November 6 election.

He said that the youth constituency has largely left their affairs in the hands of a tiny political class who are more interested in their personal aggrandizement than in driving development for the people.

He expressed his happiness at the vigour and huge interest that these youths have placed on getting it right this time around, beginning with Anambra State. He also thanked the Registrants for a job well done so far.

Hon. Kamen Chuks Ogbonna, the Head , Media and Strategy Communications to Senator Ubah, who also doubles as the Co-Coordinator of the Digital Registration Exercise, expressed satisfaction at the work done so far during the first phase of the exercise.

He pointed out that the YPP remains the only Political Party taking part in the forthcoming polls, that has revolutionalised the process of Party membership registration by importing state-of-the-art devices used to digitally capture and register party faithfuls.

He appraised the zeal, passion and sacrifice that the Registrants put into what has been done so far and thanked them immensely for their diligence throughout the first phase of the exercise.

He commended them for making great inroads into the grassroots in the State and urged them to sustain the tempo.

While reiterating the fact that YPP has come to stay in the State as evidenced in the massive acceptance and popularity that it now commands, Mr Kamen applauded the Registrants for their selfless sacrifices during the course of the exercise.

He pointed out the divine factor in all the activities of the Party, which he said is the reason all the participants in the Open Door Revolutionary process continues to enjoy God’s protection.

The meeting was also attended by the 21 Local Government Chairmen as well as the zonal chairmen of the Party .

So far, the online registration into the YPP and Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation took place simultaneously in the entire Wards in Anambra State and considering the resultant positive vibes garnered, any political watcher can safely predict a walkover for YPP in the forthcoming November 6 governorship election.
