Some unidentified gunmen have warned President Muhammadu Buhari to prepare for war if he still won’t release the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The gunmen dropped the message at the weekend through a driver, telling security operatives to ‘get ready for action in Biafra Land’.

The development came after security operatives neutralised four suspected gunmen trying to enforce sit-at-home on Tuesday in Ogidi, Idemili North local government area.

The hoodlums listed nine local government areas in Anambra State for attacks soon as part of their grievances.

The local government areas penciled for attack are: Ihiala, Aguata, Nnewi South, Awka North, Awka South, Idemili North, Idemili South, Orumba South, Orumba North and Anambra East.

The note reads in part: “These local government areas should wait for us soon.

“We are warning our dear Professor that it is time for action and not time to speak big grammar and talking.

“All the security men occupying BIAFRA LAND should get ready for action.

“Go and tell the ZOO President to release our Oga, Onyendu, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu or face continuous war- FINAL WARNING.”

Security operatives on Tuesday tracked the hoodlums that operated in Ogidi and neutralised them.

The four suspects were reportedly trying to enforce the sit-at-home order around the Ogidi area when they confronted security operatives.

In the meantime, Newsleaks reportedly that some yet to be identified arsonists, in the wee hours of Monday, set ablaze Idemili North Local Government Area secretariat in Anambra State.

It was gathered that a Magistrate Court inside the premises and the office of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) was also affected by the inferno.
