Mohbad: Police sets up special investigation team over death of singer
The Lagos State Police Command has announced that it has inaugurated a 13-man special investigation team to investigate the death of popular singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, announced the inauguration on Monday, almost one week after Mohbad died at the age of 27.
On his part, Mohbad was a former signed of Marlian Records owned by Azeez Faashola, popularly known as Naira Marley.
The police had raised suspicion over the death of Mohbad and stated that it will conduct a diligent investigation.
While inaugurating a 13-man special investigation team over Mohbad, Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa noted:
“Do not forget, we have unique access with INTERPOL. Everybody linked to it (the death of Mohbad) will be identified and they will be brought to establish their level of involvement.”
