Perjury: Court to take decision today as Concerned Nigerians wants Tinubu Disqualified based on enormous evidence presented
Federal government and President-elect, Bola Tinubu have filled appearance in response to the issue of perjury raised against the Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in February 25, Presidential election as the Court may take decision on the matter today (Friday).
Concerned Nigerians had sought Court order to halt the swearing-in of President-elect over allegations of lying on oath about his possession of a Guinean Passport.
However , the Federal government and Bola Tinubu have filled notice of preliminary objections on the matter before the court and the hearing on the issue is scheduled to hold today (Friday).
But, the Plaintiffs have asked the court to issue judgment based on the enormous evidence presented to justify the perjury case against Tinubu.
The group further argued that they have the Locus Standi to question both those that have put themselves up for election and to question anybody with allegation of malfeasance to his or her name.
The matter is slated for 12:30pm today for ruling.
