The Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Sunday, r30/01/2023, reassured his constituents that he will always partner with relevant authorities to ensure security of lives and properties in the Senatorial District.
Senator Ubah made the remarks while flagging off the execution of the “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Speaking briefly at the event that took place at Eziora Primary School Field Ozubulu, Senator Ubah thanked ndị Ekwusigo for their continuous support for him and his party, YPP.
He also appreciated members of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation (IUF) and the party in the Ekwusigo for their diligence and urged them to keep all eyes on the ball.
Speaking on agenda of the day, Senator Ubah informed the gathering that he was there to kick-off the execution of the “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” that will feature installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all Wards of the local government area.
Senator Ubah, who was accompanied by some stakeholders ,members of his campaign organisation led by the Director General, Chief Vin Onyeka, state party officials, etc., further informed residents of all the communities in Ekwusigo that his office has taken several actions to promote their wellbeing and protect their interests at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
He informed them that execution of more of his projects in the local government will soon commence following the signing of the 2023 Appropriation Bill into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Anambra South Senator also reassured the people of Anambra South that he will continually work with relevant authorities to protect their lives and boost development in various communities of the Senatorial District.
He also urged them to remain focused and consolidate their love and support for him by voting massively for the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections.
Also speaking, the Candidate of Young Progressives Party (YPP),for 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Election Hon Peter Uzokwe appreciated the people of Ekwusigo for believing in the party and for giving continuous support to Senator Ubah.
Hon Uzokwe also assured the gathering that he would be a good ambassador of the party if elected and urged them to vote massively for YPP in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections
In her remarks, the Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), for 2023 Ekwusigo State Constituency Election Lady Juliet Anaeme appreciated Ekwusigo community for continually showing their support for Senator Ubah and the party.

Lady Anaeme further used the opportunity to assure ndị Ekwusigo that they won’t regret their support for YPP and urged them to vote massively for the party in the forthcoming National and State Assembly elections.
Responding on behalf of Ndị isi Obi, the Obi of Eziora Community, Eze Odenigbo appreciated Senator Ubah for his fatherly love and support for ndị Ekwusigo.
Chief Odenigbo further commended the Senator for facilitating various projects that are aimed at promoting the wellbeing of the people.
He also appreciated him for protecting the interests of traditional institutions and urged him to keep up the good works . The Obi, who was flanked by ndị Isi Obi, also reassured Senator Ubah of their continuous support and prayed God to bless his ambition and grant more grace and protection upon him.
Other highlights of the event include distribution of additional solar powered facilities to indigenous contractors and distribution of various gift items like Electric Grinding Machines, Sewing Machines, standing fans, electric cookers and some electronic gadgets to outstanding members of the party and the foundation. The distributions were carried out under Senator Ubah’s supervision.
