Ondo commissioner for infrastructure resigns

Mr Raimi Olayiwola Aminu, the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing in Ondo State, has resigned from his position.

His resignation is coming after the death of the former governor, Rotimi Akeredolu who died after a protracted battle with prostrate cancer in a German hospital.

Though, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who was on acting capacity was officially sworn in as the new governor of Ondo State following the death of his boss on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Aminu in a letter addressed to Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, said his resignation took effect from Thursday, December 28.

He said, “I sincerely thank our dear Arakunrin and the good people of the State for the opportunity to serve in his cabinet as Senior Special Assistant on Lands & Infrastructure, Special Adviser on Lands, Works and Infrastructure and Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing.”
