Imo State was submerged under water after a heavy downpour in and around the state capital, Owerri.
According to a concerned Owerri citizen, “this poor planning commenced in earnest when Governor Rochas Okorocha appointed his now son-in-law, Mr. Uche Nwosu, as Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development.
“Communal and private lands have been forcefully and oftentimes illicitly acquired, Communities broken; and soon the people will have an opportunity to choose new people to preside over the affairs of Imo state,” he concluded.
